How it compares
- Shoppers who want a hard-sided trailer at a similar length often find that pop-up hybrids like the SS-1240 offer a lighter tow profile while still delivering a queen bed and meaningful furnace capacity.
- Compared to traditional fold-down pop-up campers, the electric roof lift on the SS-1240 removes the manual cranking process, which is a common convenience upgrade shoppers look for.
- Buyers considering small hard-sided travel trailers in the 15-foot range will typically give up the low collapsed height and storage footprint that an expandable-roof design like this provides.
